I’ve been reading about the death of this female trainer who was killed by a killer whale and one thing that always surprises me is the shock of other people reaction as to why the killer whale killed this female trainer. Why do people assume that captured wild animals will eventually become tame and predictable. A wild animal will always be wild or have wildness in it..
They’re animals, its just instinct. Thats why when I see people worship their dogs or cats like their human, it bothers me a bit.
Like the story of the lady who treated her dog like a prince. Then one day the dog attacked and litterly ripped half her face off. She was left wondering "why", its a dog, an animal. Something people should never forget. That as sweet and cute as they look, theres still that wild untamed side that is in all animals. From house cats to killer whales.

People fail to understand that animals are classified as wild for a reason.
We tend to humanize anything that looks cute and automatically think its harmless eg. Polar Bears.
People should understand this and never approach wild animals instead we should let them be

You are exactly right! That whale didn’t go CRAZY, that whale went WHALE! That is why I do not go to the circus or places like Sea World, those animals do not belong in captivity entertaining humans with their tricks.

Well people don’t really expect "pets" to kill humans.

Good question like when people are out in the wild and get attacked by animals and everyone wants to kill the animal. Seriously, animals do what they are intended to do. Also, the whale might have been playing just didn’t know humans can’t breathe forever underwater like them.

I just answered this question a while ago but yeah I agree. It’s an animal so it will act like an animal.
No matter how hard you try to tame it you can’t be 100% sure that it won’t act a certain way. That’s just it’s animal instincts the whale was following I suppose.
Still sad what happened to that trainer though.

IDK but I’m thinking they’re stupid.
I have 2 cats but even still, I don’t forget that they are carnivores and I never leave them unsupervised with my lizards or my young family members.
These idiots should leave wild animals in the wild. This is the main reason I do not support circuses.
I hope they don’t put the whale down like they love to do when their "pets" kill humans.
