I want to start a farm, which states are the best? (Not agricultural, animals)
In the united states please!
You may as well start out in a state of euphoria because the work involved will get you down quickly.
As far as where to do it, you may as well look for the cheapest land. There are farms all over. I once heard an estimate of 500 in New York City alone. Once you find a potentially-suitable spot for your ranch/farm, contact the county agent. If you get a prompt, useful reply, it augers well for being able to get aid when you really need it.

the cheapest farm land is in montanna, but most animals don’t like rocks, i’m quessing the next cheapest is indiana about $1000.00 an acre, undeveloped, no neighbors, desolate, flat, unforgiving, but the animals like it. so google it and tell us if your gonna be a new face on the street
