Gorillas & chimpanzee are endangered bcos their habitat is being destroyed and they are value for their meat.
Elephants & rhinos are endangered bcos of their tusks and horns. The tusks are use to make jewellery and medicine while the horns are use to make medicine even though the horns are no less different than our fingernails.
Ring-tailed lemurs are endangered as their habitat is being cut down for commercial use and are also hunted for their fur.

I just wanted to point out that lemurs are not technically African. Lemurs are found only on the island of Madagascar - there are none in mainland Africa.
